In Leland's class, you will learn Kodokan Style Judo and Jujitsu. Beginning students learn the fundamentals, which include falling, throwing, pinning, and Jujitsu (self-defense) techniques. Continuing students can learn progressively more advanced Judo and Jujitsu techniques in order to qualify for higher belts and promotions.

Welcome.
In Leland's class, you will learn Kodokan Style Judo and Jujitsu. Beginning students learn the fundamentals, which include falling, throwing, pinning, and Jujitsu (self-defense) techniques. Continuing students can learn progressively more advanced Judo and Jujitsu techniques in order to qualify for higher belts and promotions. This class is coordinated by Leland Roth, who is a 6th degree black belt in both Judo and Jujitsu. Drawing from over 40 years of teaching experience, Leland tailors his classes to students' abilities. Leland was named Coach of the Year USJA 2001. For his teaching and dedication to Judo, Leland was voted into the Wisconsin Judo Hall of Fall in 2016.
